According to the directives of the Archdiocese of Regina Protocol For Responsible Parish Ministry, all ministry participants are required to fill out the pertinent volunteer forms before being scheduled.

Altar Servers & Acolytes

Altar serving is one of the oldest ministries in the Church. It is a great opportunity to grow closer to God and to serve in a very solemn manner at the Mass. This ministry helps to assist the priest throughout Eucharistic celebrations and is for adults and children (10 and over).

Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers

Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers assist in the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass when there is not a sufficient number of clergy present.

Greeters

The greeters are the people that our parishioners and visitors first meet upon entering the Church.  Greeters offer hospitality and welcome in the name of Christ.

Lectors

A lector is the person who proclaims the Word of God in the first or second reading at Mass. This person also may lead the Prayers of the Faithful at Mass.

The Christian Faithful who gather together as one to await the Lord's return in glory are instructed by the Apostle Paul to sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (Col 3:16).  Liturgical music serves the ritual action and prayer of the sacred liturgy and enables the full, conscious, and active participation of the faithful.
